Andrea Tulisi

Co-founder of Archintorno

Andrea gradueted from the Architecture program at the University Federico II in Naples. He holds a PhD in Environmental Technology. His research focussed specifically on rehabilitation strategies for semi-enclosed spaces in the “Compact City”. He participated in several of Archintorno’s projects in Mexico as Worksite Director and was responsible for construction design. He has developed both scientific and technical knowledge, and posesses the ability to combine low-cost technologies with efficient environmental design. Using his extensive studies on passive ventilation and solar design, he and a multidisciplinary team won an international competition for the implementation of low-cost housing prototypes for families affected by AIDS and tuberculosis in Haiti.
